The Seeker

Functions: introverted spirituality, introverted induction, extroverted nihilism and extroverted deduction

The seeker type uses introverted spirituality to attribute a spiritual cause to their thoughts and emotions. They then use introverted induction to find patterns in such states and make predictions about what causes them. Extroverted nihilism tells them that the world around them effects the spiritual state within themselves while remaining inherently meaningless. Therefore they use extroverted deduction to form a logical explanation as to how physical things cause such spiritual states.

Shadow Type: Warrior

The seeker can become like the warrior and be needlessly judgemental when their self-worth is in jeopardy. This can cause them to lash out recklessly at themselves and others. They may then become overly afraid of things that are unfamiliar or that they are unable to cynically explain away.

Conscience Type: Provocateur

The provocateur challenges the seeker to think critically and logically about the world around them. This helps the seeker form judgements. It prevents them from becoming trapped by that which is only superficially good. Hence, the seeker is reminded that nothing is perfect. Their adventure to find good is endless but no less rewarding thanks to the provocateur.

Aspirational Type: Guardian

The guardian shows the seeker that everything they have found so far is worth something. It prevents perfectionism and black and white thinking. This helps the seeker take a kinder view of the things they have discovered. They are encouraged to preserve and share their discoveries with others.
